Oriental notes because of the warm and sweet amber and resin commonly used, is the most exotic scent in the perfume industry.
The rise of Oriental notes stems from the influx of Oriental spices after the Middle Ages when Europe opened up new routes for foreign trade. Perfumers tried to create what they saw as the "Eastern world" through spices, initially mainly in the Middle East, India, etc., but later also extended to Myanmar, China, and Japan.
Oriental perfumes usually contain vanilla, amber, various resins, animal fragrances, cinnamon, cloves, etc. The fragrance of perfume is usually sweet, spicy, sexy, deep, penetrating, rich in layers, and long-lasting.
